When
21 AUG -- 2 SEPT 2009 (and 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)

Where?
Polo Fields, Speedway Meadow, Lindley Meadow, Marx Meadow, Little Speedway Meadow, as well as the adjacent connective areas will be closed to the public

To whom
All unauthorized users (e.g., persons with(out) dogs, nature lovers, bikers, runners, writers, picnickers, artists, Parcourse exercisers, scientists, poets, et al.) will be denied access to the areas above for at least 12 days

How?
Chain--link fencing

Why?
Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival (3 days)

What to Do?
Realize this closure will efficiently serve as a basis for future closures in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013

Spread the word about our loss of access and the gradual privatization of our park by letter, word of mouth, phone, email, text, tweets, blogs
